Every day, we take care over more than 60 dogs, nearly 400 cats and a few dozens of smaller animals, whose upkeep is made possible solely by donations, as local governments only pay for the first 14 shelter days of a homeless animal.
Your donations ensure that animals get the necessary care during their entire stay at an animal shelter; donations also enable treatments, vaccination, microchips, issuing pet passports and entering animals who are headed to their new homes from our shelters into the pet register.
We use the donations to spay/neuter as many animals as possible, so that the lives of animals and their new owners could be hassle free and to prevent unwanted litters.
The organisation currently has seven animal shelters all over Estonia: in Lääne County, Pärnu, Tallinn, Valga, Viljandi, Võru and Viru County. We find new homes for nearly 2,000 animals every year.
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
