How does your donation help?
NGO Mondo set up the "Brilliant Fund" to support talented but needy students and advance the quality of education in Mondo partner countries. Individual Estonian donors support over 300 students in Northern Ghana and Western Kenya. 70 students were studying in secondary or vocational schools in 2017.
Last year Mondo focused on campaigning for a girls school in Afghanistan and co-operating with schools in Eastern Ukraine. In 2017 Mondo hopes to increase the number of students attending secondary school from 70 to 100, and also to focus on the Shan state in Burma, where Mondo will help meet the basic needs rural schools.
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.

Substitute Teacher Programme: to ensure that students do not have gaps in their subject knowledge
Every day, schools need to find substitutes for a number of teachers (teachers fall ill, attend training, go on holiday, participate in projects, etc.). It really matters to us that no pupil has a gap in subject knowledge. We need your support to help schools and nursery schools – every donation helps ensure that all pupils receive a quality education, even when their teacher needs to be substituted.
