How does your donation help?

This year, with your support, we aim to continue and expand our nationwide network of Mental Health Cafés. In many areas, these cafés are the only easily accessible places where people can receive an initial response to their mental health concerns. Every last Saturday of the month, we welcome you to local cafés or libraries—warm and inviting spaces that people enjoy coming to. Our network consists of approximately 100 volunteers who have completed mental health first aid training and are ready to support and listen to their communities each month.

As of November 2024, our Mental Health Cafés are open in EIGHT cities across Estonia, and several other communities have reached out to us, expressing a desire to offer the same supportive opportunity to their residents. To make conversations about mental health challenges more natural and to ensure that café day information reaches as many people as possible, consistent outreach and active communication are essential.

To keep the network vibrant and provide a safe, trustworthy environment where people can share their concerns, we need €1,600 per month. This amount covers social media and local communication costs, the development and printing of supportive materials, and helps maintain our 100-member volunteer network trained, motivated, and strong.

For the upcoming year, we need a total of €19,200 to sustain our existing support and expand to three more cities, reaching even more people across Estonia.
