How does your donation help?
For the third year in a row, Ukrainian citizens are suffering the consequences of daily missile attacks, which are being tackled by Ukrainian rescuers. Since 2022, more than 11,000 missiles and drones have been fired by Russia at civilians, killing more than 10,000 people and injuring more than 20,000. In addition, several hundred units of rescue equipment and supplies have been destroyed, and to date, 100 rescue workers have been killed by the enemy.
Providing psychological assistance directly on the scene, under the guidance of the Rescue Service, is also an important element. People who have endured three years of mental and physical terror need all the help they can get.
Estonian Rescue Association is collecting donations to provide the Ukrainian National Rescue Service with rescue equipment based on their lists, varying from classical fire-fighting, collapse rescue, demining and psychological assistance needs. To date, with the help of Estonian donors, the Rescue Association has been able to assist Ukrainian rescuers with almost €7 million worth of equipment.
We will continue to support the Ukrainian rescuers until the victorious end of the war!
