I've become the guardian angel of Nössu, a cat from Virumaa - one that teaches us to fight for our life and never give up. It is not just about her, but about all animals alike, who, due to irresponsible people, happen to find themselves from streets. They can not make a difference by themselves. Nössu was found from christmasdecorated Paide and even experienced shelterpeople were taken aback dread because of her look. Injured eyes, parasites, shaggy furcoat, obvious pains - like someone from a horror movie. There was only one thing more astonishing jet - her unbroken faith in humanity. From the first day Nössu was treated against parasites, she got painkellers and antibiotics, doctor removed her teeth causing constant pain. They were happy to save her eye, which seemed to be incurable. Nössu is taking pleasure of foster home right now. Though we will never know about Nössus previous life, her spirit and faith in humans have given us all hope for the future. On the contrary to the popular belief shelter is not a depressing and sad place to be, it is a reliable starting point for a new rise. Animals like Nössu deserve to have a second chance!
